Your Right to Delete Data

At Safari Ride, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request account deletion, we will remove:

Your personal information (name, phone number, email)
Your profile photo and verification documents
Your trip history and booking records
Your ratings and reviews
Your wallet transaction history
Your chat messages
Your location history

⚠️ Important: Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will lose access to your account and all associated data.

How to Request Data Deletion

Option 1: In-App Deletion

Open Safari Ride app
Go to Profile → Settings
Tap "Delete Account"
Confirm deletion

Option 2: Email Request

Send an email to support@safariride.co.ke with:

Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
Your registered phone number
Your full name

Processing Time

We will process your deletion request within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.

Data We May Retain

Some data may be retained for legal or legitimate business purposes:

Transaction records (for tax/accounting purposes) - up to 7 years
Data required for legal disputes or investigations
Anonymized/aggregated data for analytics
